ABOUT
The club was first formed on 26th June 1998, under the name of Newmarket White Dwarf Society, Due to an IP issue that the founder was unaware of, we have had two name changes, the first the Newmarket Dwarf wargames club, later becoming Newmarket Knights Wargames Club , which was more fitting with our surroundings. In March 2016 we dropped the war part of the clubs name, as now we play a lot more than tabletop games.
We first met at the Leisure centre in the town, after our membership outgrew it moved to a community centre on Studlands park. this after a few years seemed a bit expensive , so we have moved again to our present location.
We also were one of the founder members of the GCN.
The Scout hall in Soham has a kitchen for tea and coffee etc. ladies, gents and disabled toilets.
Due to moving out the Newmarket, the Town specific name was dropped.
As of April 20/3 the club name is now Knights Games Club.
